Our Principal, Ben Wong, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), who has worked in accounting and tax for over 20 years.

He spent the first 9 years of his career learning tax from the best in the business at PwC, Australia’s largest professional services firm, before spending some time working in the tax team at Optus.

Having worked on both the advisor and client sides of the table, Ben is extremely well placed to understand both the technical and commercial aspects of all things accounting and tax.

In 2017, Ben decided to open his own business, and Precise Tax Solutions was born. Servicing individuals and small business in Australia and across the globe, you will never be “just a number” as a client of Precise Tax Solutions.

In 2019, Ben was elected by his peers to the NSW Regional Council for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and was appointed Vice Chair in 2021 and Chair in 2022. NSW Regional Council represents members in NSW by providing a voice for members in the region, providing input on strategic policy and member issues to the Council and management and acting as a key conduit between members in the region, local member groups, and Chartered Accountants ANZ governance and management.

Ben is also an examination marker for the Chartered Accountants program, and module facilitator for the CA Study Masterclass program.
